The three backgrounds these musicians bring to the table have created a lot of buzz in the Dayton area music scene over the last 9 years. Their basic instrumentation of material is bluegrass oriented, but their sounds stretch to touch on a few rock and roll bands and some gypsy-jazz sounds as well. So, it's not just straight ahead traditional bluegrass, yet most of Sawgrass' influences lies deeply rooted therein.
